THE STORY OF

our forever

Everything started when Kyle moved to Florida and immediately noticed a certain someone at church. He tried to spark a conversation with Amy, but let’s just say the doors of connection weren’t exactly open (yet). Still, God had a plan.Over time, we found ourselves in the same circles—working together, worshipping together, praying in the same room—and without trying too hard, a real friendship began to grow. It was easy, genuine, and refreshingly pressure-free, rooted in something much deeper than either of us realized at the time. Then one night, during a game with friends, Amy was asked why she thought she and Kyle had met. Her honest answer floored him: she shared how their friendship had brought unexpected healing to her heart in a way she hadn’t experienced in years. That moment stirred Kyle’s spirit and opened his eyes to what God might be writing. While Kyle was seeking the Lord for wisdom and timing, Amy was walking through her own season of surrender, healing, and saying yes to God in new ways. Eventually, hearts aligned, the conversation happened, and just like that—we stepped into a new chapter.

What followed was laughter, porch talks under the stars, shared playlists and favorite shows, and the kind of ease you don’t have to force. Our connection kept deepening, even when life got busy with Amy’s move to NC, her sons’s graduation, and now a long-distance relationship. We found ourselves falling in love while doing the ordinary things with extraordinary joy.And somewhere in there—before there was a ring, or a proposal, or even a "yes"—we were already talking about forever. Turns out, when you know... you just know. It was clear that God had brought the pieces of our lives together for something beautiful, new, and lasting.Eventually (okay, not that long after), Kyle popped the question, and Amy said yes—with a full heart. Now we’re here, planning a wedding, still amazed at what God has done in our story.
